Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and activist for animal rights. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Born and raised in a family of artists living in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. The actress was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising actor. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained the world to her and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the top female box office starter in the world. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she had her name and footprints hand-engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is divorced three times.
