Zoe-perry

Perry was born on July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances in the television screen as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on her role on the ABC show Roseanne. In fear of stress, her parents didn't want to see the actress pursue acting until she reached the age of age 18. Perry states that she did not want to be an actor in high school, but she decided to begin playing as a way to make friends at Northwestern University when she switched to it from Boston University. Perry made her debut as an actress in New York after graduation, landing minor role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But homesickness made Perry go back to California and find work as a theater actress. The Other Place was performed by her and her mother in 2013 on Broadway in 2013. In 2015, she performed with her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry played a role in 9 episodes of the ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. Her father played her character in her role on the ABC drama Scandal. The same year, she appeared as a younger character based on Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) in which she played her mother as a young version. The part was offered by audition regardless of the fact that she is a relative with the character.
