Ina-Garten

Ina Garten has been an acclaimed American cook book author over the decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina was employed in the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies and the budget. While she found it to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she dropped interest and decided to purchase a smaller speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. After selling the store it took her 18 years building it into the most successful shop. Many different cookbooks and magazines were later published. The Food Network TV show also debuted which was an enormous hit. Ina sells a variety of products, from ingredients for cooking to kitchenware and storage. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She she is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her easy way of entertaining and easy food preparation. Her best-known recipes include Skillet with roasted lemon chicken and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac & cheese.
