Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress, best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. That same year, she released Her first album of songs, called It's time for Tina. Louise was first seen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the movie. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character against her famous image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she made a mark as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection to play the lead.
