Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. Her work has been featured on many studio records. DiFranco's songs are classified as folk or alternative rock. However, they also are influenced by hip-hop as well as jazz, and punk. Widely considered a feminist icon Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement and is among the first artists to create her own record label in 1990.
