Lita Rossana Ford or Lita Ford, as she's more commonly known as, was an American-born British musician and vocalist who was the leader of the only female hard-rock group The Runaways during the late 1970s. Although the band was not success within The United States, it gained huge popularity abroad. Ford enjoyed a lengthy and prosperous career as a solo heavy metal artist after the group split from 1979. After receiving voice classes, Ford launched her debut single album "Out for Blood" followed by "Dancin at the Edge". Ford was absent from the scene for several years after both albums failed to become popular. In 1988, she returned to the scene with a smashing album called "Lita. Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both quickly became huge hit. However, her fame was temporary, and she was gone for a few years. After releasing 'Black, in 1995, and then 'Wicked Wonderland 15 years afterwards she returned. Her latest album was released Time Capsule in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the award of a Certified Guitar Legend.
