Lita Rossana Ford is popularly referred to as Lita Ford, is a British American musician, songwriter and guitarist who served as the lead guitarist in the all-girl hard rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their rock-star sound and raucous lyrics allowed them to be noticed within the world of rock. It wasn't possible for the group to be popular in America, however, they enjoyed a great deal of popularity in other countries and in particular Japan. The album's release Black in 1995 was followed by a fifteen-year delay for the album 'Wicked Wonderland. Her latest album was released Time Capsule in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine presented her with the prestigious Certified Guitar Legend Award.
