Lita Rossana Ford Also known as Lita Ford is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who was born in the UK. She was the lead guitarist for The Runaways, a hard-rock band made up of all girls from the 1970s. The band's punk-rock style and provocative lyrics helped them get recognized by the rock world. The group wasn't popular on the scene in the United States, it gained immense popularity in the world. Ford's solo career in heavy metal had a great success following the split of the band. She began taking voice classes followed by her first album "Out For Blood", followed by "Dancin" at the Edge.
