Lita Rossana Ford or Lita Ford as she is more commonly known as was an American born British singer and guitarist who led the women-only hard-rock group The Runaways during the late 1970s. The group failed to achieve major success within their home country of the United States but earned huge popular internationally, especially in Japan.
