Lita Rossana Ford She was born in the United Kingdom and was an American musician, singer as well as songwriter. The latter half of the 1970s she played as the lead guitar for the hard-rocking all-girl group The Runaways. Although the band was not success within The United States, it gained immense popularity in the world. Ford's solo heavy metal career had a great success following the group break-up. After taking voice lessons, she released her debut single album "Out for Blood" which was followed by "Dancin on the Edge". Her albums weren't very popular and she went on hiatus for a few years.
