Lita Rossana Ford, also known as Lita Ford, is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who was born in Britain. She was the lead guitarist in The Runaways, a hard-rock group comprised of girls in late 1970s. Their punk rock music and raunchy lyrics made them noticed by the rock community. The band didn't have much of a following in the United States. However, their fame grew internationally and especially in Japan. However, the success of her career wasn't last long and after a few years she disappeared. Following the release of 'Black' in 1995, as well as 'Wicked Wonderland 15 years afterwards it was back in the spotlight. The album she released was Time Capsule in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
