Lita Rossana Ford (also called Lita Ford is an American guitar player and singer who was born in Britain. She was a lead guitarist for The Runaways, a hard-rock group comprised of girls in late 1970s. The band's punk-rock style and raunchy lyrics made them noticed by the rock community. It wasn't possible for the group to be popular in America, but they gained a lot of popularity in other countries particularly Japan. After the band split in 1979, Ford started a lucrative solo career in heavy metal. After taking vocal lessons she launched her debut solo album, 'Out For Blood'.
